Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonic are two different ways to practice THE GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®.
Gyrokinesis takes place in a group with chair and mat. Gyrotonic is practiced with equipment.
In goooal you have the opportunity to learn and practice both.
What is Gyrokinesis® about?
The Gyrokinesis Method is a movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original and unique method which coordinates movement, breath and mental focus.
The movements are organic and originate from the center- just like animals move, full of suppleness. Stretching is like yawning, a very natural, instinctive and enjoyable movement.
By exercising Gyrokinesis you create connections from your center to your extremities.
You develop a feeling for the quality of the movement and increase the perception of your body.
Gyrokinesis® stimulates you on many levels, it opens your body from the inside, it centers and strengthens you and after the lesson you feel full of energy.

The Gyrotonic method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength.
Gyrotonic exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breath patterns. Each movement flows into the next allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
The body is naturally designed to work as one harmonious system, to follow arcing and spiraling
paths of motion and to transition from one movement to the next smoothly and efficiently. Sophisticated adjustments allow Gyrotonic Trainers to adapt the equipment to the ideal setting for each person’s unique physique, adapting for things such as height, arm and leg length, natural range of motion and physical ability.
The specialized line of Gyrotonic equipment supports the natural movement patterns.
In addition to the basic equipment, the Pulley Tower, we have three different specialized devices in goooal which enable you to train in a variety of ways: Leg Extension, Jump and Stretching Board and Archway. This different devices create diverse environments in which you can experience a wide range of movements and qualities such as resistance, gliding or your own body weight.
You learn Gyrotonic primarily in individual lessons with one of us. This enables us to respond to your personal needs.
Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® complement each other. In the beginning, Gyrotonic® helps you understand more directly what it is all about. In Gyrokinesis® you learn to create the basic essence of the system within yourself without the support of the equipment.
Martin discovered Gyrotonic® in 2000. Since then, he has been working with great curiosity on how the body works and communicates his findings with great commitment. Martin completed his training in Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis® including the specialized equipment.
In addition to the basic training in Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis®, Åse also has training for the specialized equipment. She has not only completed the therapeutic courses for the treatment of scoliosis, the shoulder and pelvic girdle. She also applies Gyrotonic® pre- and postnatally.
